Amr Ibn Al ass Mosque

This is the first mosque erected in Islamic Egypt it was erected in642 AD under the region of Amr Ibn Al Ass 
firstly it was very simple imtating the mosque of our proghet Mohammed pbuh but after that many addition added to it and became very different and impressive too


  
This mosque consistes of four iwans the most important is the Qubila Iwan where there is Al Mehrab with its impressive decoration which is agemetrical decoration with many colours





also we can see the beautiful columns

Virgin Mary Church

This church is one of the oldest churches in Egypt it dates back to the earliest times it is located in zuwailla district in Cairo in the fatimid section

Unlikrly this church was destroyed  in 1321but it rebuilt after that 
Now adays the church consistes of
a narthex which is called entery hall a nas


 a nose which is a nave with two sides aisles
choir which is along with three sanctuaries 

In addition to all this parts of the church you can find the liberary that boasts a number of valuable manuscripts you can enjoy also the beautiful icones and the impessive paitings with the features of the coptic art

Mostafa Kamel Catacomb


This famouse necroplis are the oldest one in Roman Egypt it dates back to the third century B C
Many of the rich old famlies are buried in this tombs


This tombs are decorated in beautiful manner
The most clear features of this tombs are their bright colours andrelief inscriptions illustrating the everyday life of the dead as weel as thier religious beliefs.



There are four tombs in this necroplis the most atrractive one is the first tombwhich marked by its stairwaythat leads to an open courtyard decorated with Doric columns

The Roman Theater

This one of the one of most attractive monuments which dates back to the Ptolemaic times
It s condition is very well preserved

The Description Of the Theater
It consistes from therten semi curcilar tires from white marble which imported from Europe.cncerning the columns of this great theater they are from green marble that was imported from Asia Minor and finally you can see the reed granite that was used also in the columns which taken from Aswan the modern Egyptian governrat


      The marble staries of this theater are for up to 800 spectators
In this theater you can see the geometric mosaic pavingin the decoration of The wings on either side of the theater


Here there is also aver beautiful  mosaic flooring




The Uses Of The Roman During  Different Times

Firstly during the Ptolemic period it was used as apark of pan
secondly during the Roman period it was used  oden for musical performances and some times it was used for wrestling contests

In addition to this impressive stage you can find many others buildings such as the remains of abrick roman baths and also remains of Roman houses

Saqqara Pyramid



Here we will speak about Saqqara pyramid als called Djoser Pyramid


This pyramid is known as the step pyramid, referring to its shape,it was one of the most parts of the funeral complex of king Djoser (founder of the 3th dynasty old king doom), it was designed by kings vizier Imhotep during the 27 th B C .

This pyramid is the first structure which built compeletly from the stone in all the ancient world,it’s the larget structure ever erected at Saqqara, initially it was in the form of a low mastaba tomb upon extra
But during the building its designed changed to be its current shape which is a six steps built atop one another,the main and most attractive part is the burial chamber(substructure) which was built and roofed with slaps of Aswan granite.this chamber was surrounded by some other chambers and galleries, the walls of these underground chambers were covered with small pieces of blue faience imitating the mats,the false doors are found here also.

Concerning the outer part of the pyramid (pyramid superstructure) it was built of the rough local limestone set with clay mortar, was coated with two layers of the fine dressed limestone of Turrah.
